Dad did not leave the hospital today. His departure is scheduled for Wednesday. –Chena

If we just feed him some of your lovely kale dish! June, Dad ate a big lunch today of meatloaf, mashed ‘taters, carrots, fruit cocktail, and more. Don’t fret about him not moving today…it was my bad for listening to staff talk about him moving and not Heather, who knew all along it was either Tuesday or Wednesday. His not going home wasn’t because he was in worse or better shape. Just kind of logistics.
I would love it if Friends would figure out one day of the week they designate someone to bring a supper up to Heather and Niilo and Joan. As you know, Heather is taking off work to help Dad. Other family are helping too. Sometimes just having a casserole to eat is absolutely outstanding and I sure think Heather might appreciate it.
